Typingweb Free Program for Teachers and Students
Typingweb.com was not on my radar screen until this week when I had to create a Lifeskills program for a few of my new students who could not take the standard curriculum. I love this program because:
1) Its free
2) It gives teachers a “Portal” that allows teachers full control over creating student accounts, monitoring progress (such as time spent, words per minute, and interactive charts and graphs to show students progress over time).
3) It has many typing games to give students breaks between working on the lessons.
My students have been really interested
in the process so far and have focused on the task of learning to type for about 45 minutes at a time without seeming frustrated or agitated.
Teachers can get their accounts HERE!
